Augmentin (Amoxicillin, Clavulanate)

• Otitis Media should be treated by taking orally the drag in dosage of 250 mg every 8 hours either 500 mg same way but every 12 hours. The treatment duration is mast to long from 10 to 14 days. If the infection is much severer than the dose can be increased to 500mg every 8 hours and 875 mg every 12 hours. The medicine has to be applied orally.

• Pneumonia treatment dosage: If for treatment is used an Augmentin (Amoxicillin, Clavulanate) pills with quick release property, the drug should be taken inside in dosage of 500 mg every 8 hours or 875 mg every 12 hours. And if used the tablets with extended release properties, the medicine needs to be applied orally 2 g, which is 2 tablets every 12 hours during 7 to 10 days.
