Propecia (Finasteride)

General information. Propecia (Finasteride) is developed to use by male patients and should not be used by female consumers. It also can not be used in children! Dosage. Usual recommended dose of Propecia (Finasteride) is one tablet which is 1 mg. applying frequency is once per day. Applying period should be no less then three months. Side effects. The allergic reactions that patients may observe during taking Propecia (Finasteride) are: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of face, lips, tongue, or throat. Signs of male breast cancer can be observed by such symptoms as; any breast lumps, pain, nipple discharge, or other breast changes. Propecia (Finasteride) may also cause unwanted side effects. In list of less serious side effects included next signs: impotence, loss of interest in sex, or trouble having an orgasm; abnormal ejaculation; swelling in your hands or feet; swelling or tenderness in your breasts; dizziness, weakness; feeling like patient might pass out; headache; runny nose; or skin rash. Some of sexual side effects may continue even after patient stop taking this medication, such side effects are; decreased libido, trouble having an erection, ejaculation problems. If such trouble are faced the medical help will be necessary immediately! Propecia (Finasteride) may have unwanted reaction if will be applied in combination with some other medications. For example, such medications as; vitamins or herbal products. The patients must to consult with health care specialist if any of listed and even other symptoms occur during applying the Propecia (Finasteride).

Missed dose. Propecia (Finasteride) medication has to be applied carefully with strictly comply of the schedule that is prescribed by doctor! If the dose has been missed, take the missed dose as soon as you remember, and skip the missed dose if it is almost time to take next scheduled dose. Do not take extra portion of this drug to make up the missed dose. It may lead to unwanted overdosing! Clinical researches did not observe any properties of the Propecia (Finasteride) that could provide life-threatening symptoms from overdosing.
