This drug is not recommended to use for people who had jaundice or liver problems in past time. People allergic to drugs such as clarithromycin, erythromycin, or telithromycin are also should not use it. Taking the Zithromax (Azithromycin) with listed components will also reduce the efficiency of the drug. During treatment the patient should stay away from sunlight or tanning beds. Also the treatment by applying a Zithromax (Azithromycin) medicine should be stopped if the patient will start suffering from diarrhea, if it is watery or bloody it may be caused by some other bacteria. This medicine was tested on pregnant animals and it did not show any fetotoxicity, but this drug was not studied on pregnant human, so it should be applied by pregnant woman only if its usefulness outweighs the risk of pregnancy termination!

Missed dose: If patient remember in short time from one dose applying time that the dose of Zithromax (Azithromycin) was missed then the missed amount of drug should be quickly taken, butt if it happens by the time for next scheduled dose applying time the missed amount of the drug has to be skipped!
