Diflucan (fluconazole) – General information

Diflucan (also fluconazole) without prescription is the original name of the antifungal drug from triazole group. It is widely used in the treatment of diseases caused by fungal infection.

Its active ingredient has the ability to inhibit cell metabolism in fungi by binding and inhibiting the specific substance – cytochrome P-450, included in a large number of enzyme systems of fungal cells. It is mainly excreted from the body by the kidneys in unchanged form.

Indications. It is recommended to take 150 mg on the first day of the menstrual cycle for 6 – 12 months. Tactics of treatment for men and women do not differ.
